3rd Annual ALS Charity Golf Classic
In Memory of Don Steffen
June 16, 2012
This year is going to be bigger and better than last year. We are getting corporate sponsorships and silent auction items lined up. Our tournament celebrity this year is Pat Ryan**, former NFL quarterback. Last year’s tournament raised $34,500, more than doubling the first year’s efforts and we are planning to beat that amount.
Please download the attached brochure and become a corporate sponsor, a hole sponsor, make a donation or join us at the tournament. Don was so proud of all the help and support that his friends and family showed for this tournament and was truly humbled at the turnouts at the two previous events. Don felt that being an advocate for this horrible disease, that he fought such a courageous battle against, was the one way he could give back. He wanted to help those that would be diagnosed in the future by raising as much money as possible to fund the research to find a cause, treatment or better yet, a cure for them.
Please help us continue Don’s legacy to be an advocate for ALS by playing in the tournament, sponsoring a hole, giving a donation, becoming a corporate sponsor, or just coming for the fellowship, fun and support. We appreciate everything that you can do. One of Don’s quotes is, “I am an extremely lucky man to have such a support system through my family and friends.”
Our family would like to thank you in advance for whatever you can do to help us fight this horrible disease.
With hope for a cure,
Diann, Brian, and Angela Steffen
